Upon retirement, he soon discovered the excitement of fine art and the transition from commercial art
to fine art was comfortable and fulfilled a lifelong ambition. His many influences were his fellow-senior commercial artists, Frank Carmichael, Andrew Wyeth and the best, most exciting inspiration of all, Mother Nature.
His paintings reveal the inner love of the subjects that he portrays on canvas.
