I have been trying all kinds of artsy things since I was young. My earliest recollection is cutting up reams of paper and shoving the scraps under my bed! I like to use a variety of mediums - mostly acrylics, on a variety of surfaces: reclaimed furniture, fabric, canvas, walls, etc. I am an elementary school teacher and I use 'Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain' (Betty Edwards) as the basis for my art lessons. I also host an art camp for two weeks in early July on our hobby farm near Vars for kids ages 9 to 16.
