I probably have drawn and painted most of my life. Public acceptance of my work and awards for paintings has been very gratifying and I have a number of paintings in the City of Ottawa corporate collection as well as in private collections in Canada and abroad.
In these days of economic uncertainty and political absurdity, there is a need for aesthetic tranquility. To lose yourself, if only for a moment, in the peaceful reminders of the world's beauty hanging on the wall in front of you may be beneficial to your psyche.
I participate in a number of local art shows and am a member of various art associations. My work can be a combination of whimsy, realism and expressionism and is executed using dyes on silk, watercolor, acrylic or multi-media collage and sometimes a combination of all of the above.
